Dear Mission Partners,

Our hearts have been broken as we have received the reports about the unrest and violence has broken out across Nigeria; a nation that we love dearly.  The situation is so dire at the moment that if we had planned to conduct campaigns there at this time, they would have to be canceled.  But the Lord knew what was coming and spoke to us over a year ago and led us to venture out into countries where we have not been in a long time.

After a decade of holding campaigns almost exclusively in Nigeria, this year, in obedience to that word of the Lord, we are launching out all across East and West Africa proclaiming the Gospel and the timing seems absolutely providential.

Tonight we are in the West African nation of Burkina Faso in the city of Ouagadougou (pronounced Waga-doo-goo). Our very first meeting tonight was attended by over 70,000 people!  There is a tremendous groundswell of excitement and anticipation for what the Lord will do here this week.

We witnessed a number of amazing miracle testimonies tonight including several cripples who can now walk, a boy whose blind eye can now see, a mute woman who can now speak, a couple of paralytics that are now healed…among others.

As always our greatest joy is to see tens of thousands of people responding to the Gospel and being ushered into the Kingdom of God.  I’m sure that all Heaven is rejoicing tonight!

Please make it a point to pray for us this week and for the people of Burkina Faso.  The best is yet to come!

Yours in the Gospel,

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
Together with the whole CfaN team
