Enormous Gospel Impact – Monrovia, Liberia – Day 5

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 27, 2012  /     Crusade Photos, Posted from Monrovia Liberia, reinhard bonnke  /     15 Comments

What in amazing week we have had here in Monrovia, Liberia. 260,000 people attended tonight’s final meeting – that’s nearly 30% of the entire population of this capital city! The state president attended the meeting along with other top dignitaries and government officials.

Evangelist Bonnke preached the Gospel tonight and prayed for the sick. We heard wonderful testimonies – deaf ears, blind eyes and crippled legs healed to the glory of God.

Another fascinating testimony came from a self-proclaimed witch. She said she has killed 10 people in the past using spells and juju (including two of her sisters) and a couple of nights ago her coven sent her to the crusade to kill me. When she tried to place the curse on us, to her amazement she said our prayers were too powerful. Suddenly she fell to the ground and began manifesting demons. (…Continued)

The Most Beautiful Sound on Earth – Monrovia, Liberia – Day 4

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 26, 2012  /     Crusade Photos, Posted from Monrovia Liberia, reinhard bonnke  /     3 Comments

We’ve just returned from the field here in Monrovia, Liberia where the Holy Spirit fell in mighty power tonight on the 160,000 people present. Evangelist Bonnke preached a red-hot Gospel message about the “Prison of Sin” and even as he was preaching, shrieks rang out from demoniacs in the crowd who were being set free. When he gave the invitation there was an overwhelming response and as he led the multitudes in the prayer of salvation their voices resounded like thunder across the field…the most beautiful sound on earth!

We also heard wonderful testimonies of what Jesus is doing. The blind man (that we saw while leaving the field last night) came forward and gave his testimony (see attached picture). A woman who had a huge tumor in her stomach told us that it vanished! (…Continued)

Holy Ground – Monrovia, Liberia – Day 3

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 25, 2012  /     Crusade Photos, Posted from Monrovia Liberia  /     4 Comments

The crowd grew to 130,000 people tonight here in Monrovia, Liberia and there was electricity in the air. The worship was deep and wonderful. The presence of the Lord was so tangible and sweet – it moved me to tears. The crusade field is holy ground this week.

Many people surrendered charms, fetishes, amulets, idols and juju to be burned tonight. I preached about the blood of Jesus, led thousands in the prayer of salvation and thenbroke the curses in the mighty name of Jesus. Afterwards I prayed for the sick and wonderful miracles happened. (…Continued)

Healing the Brokenhearted – Monrovia, Liberia – Day 2

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 23, 2012  /     Crusade Photos, Posted from Monrovia Liberia  /     5 Comments

Liberia is a nation that has experienced genocide, civil war, poverty and unspeakable suffering in recent years. The Scripture God gave me when I arrived is Luke 4:18, 19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

The greatest salve for the human heart is the healing balm of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It liberates the captives, heals the brokenhearted and blesses multitudes. Tonight 90,000 people heard the Gospel preached with clarity and huge numbers responded with joy. After the prayer for salvation miracles began to happen, shouts of joy rang out from the crowd and crutches piled up on the platform. Blind eyes saw, deaf ears heard and crippled legs walked to the glory of God almighty.

Update from Canada

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 12, 2012  /     VLOG from the Road  /     2 Comments

I had the opportunity to visit Banff National Park today and thought I’d take advantage of the extraordinarily beautiful scenery to post a VLog. Last night was the first meeting of the Fire Conference here in Alberta, Canada. Rev. George Madden has been organizing this conference for the youth for several years. This year they invited me to minister and what a powerful meeting it was. Together with my friend and colleague Eric Gilmour we preached and then prayed for the young people. So many miracles of healing took place that it would have taken us all night to get through the testimonies. In the altars, many were overcome by the power of God and filled with the Holy Spirit…and that is just the beginning. Im preparing to leave in just a few minutes for the last meeting and Im praying for an even greater outpouring tonight. Please pray!

The Decision Card Count from Burkina Faso

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 10, 2012  /     Articles, Burkina Faso  /     1 Comment

We have just received some wonderful news from West Africa. The decision card count is in from the Burkina Faso – over the five days of meetings 429,255 people received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord! In a nation where the entire population is around 16-million, this is a RICH HARVEST for sure. We are rejoicing!

I would also like to especially thank the Green family (owners of Hobby Lobby) who sponsored this campaign IN FULL! I know the Lord will bless them richly, both now and in eternity, for their generosity and heart for the lost. We are eternally grateful as are hundreds of thousands of Burkinabé people whose lives have been changed forever.

It’s a Girl!!!!!

By Daniel Kolenda   /     Feb 07, 2012  /     Articles  /     16 Comments

It is with great joy I can announce that yesterday my wife gave birth to our 4th child – a beautiful, healthy, 9lb, 8oz, 22-inch girl named Lydia. We are all overjoyed and so thankful for God’s goodness.

My other three kids cannot get enough of her. My three-year-old son announced to me yesterday, “I not a baby.” He seems to feel that he’s moved up in rank now that he’s not the youngest anymore. My older daughter (6) can’t wait to play “dress up” with her. Rebekah (my wife) is doing great and feeling as good as one can after giving birth to a 9.5-pound baby.

Thank you to everyone who was praying for us and thinking about us. Our lives will never be the same again.

“Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3
