ORLANDO, Fla., May 13, 2022 /Christian Newswire/ — During the Spring of 2022, Christ for All Nations (CfaN) evangelism teams held more than 1,145 Kids Crusades throughout Kigali, Rwanda, in just nine weeks. The staggering number of outreaches yielded tremendous fruit as 695,699 young people chose to make Jesus their Lord and Savior.
Evangelist (and CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp graduate) Samuel Hörnle said of the events, “For me personally, my favorite moment is when I see children raising their hands to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.” This is a sight that he and the teams repeatedly witnessed during the nine weeks of intensely productive work in the Kigali region. Evangelist Hörnle went on to share, “It is such a privilege to see how an entire generation gets changed through the Holy Spirit. We have seen so many children following the call of the Father to come home. Thousands of kids are proclaiming and confessing Jesus as Lord. To see this is one of the greatest privileges of our times.”
The children-specific outreach is part of Daniel Kolenda’s (CfaN President and Lead Evangelist) vision to see as many people won to Christ over the next ten years as the ministry saw in its first 40 years combined. The aptly named “Decade of Double Harvest” strategy includes training thousands of new evangelists, equipping them for success, and releasing them into the harvest field. These graduates of CfaN’s Evangelism Bootcamp, Fire Camp, and other CfaN programs have joined veteran evangelists on the field using the innovative techniques developed by Daniel Kolenda and CfaN, such as mobile crusade trucks, Operation Decapolis (10-city) simultaneous Crusades, and Kids Crusades. Evangelist (and Evangelism Bootcamp graduate) Jennifer Whitaker noted, “Christ for all Nations Bootcamp has prepared me spiritually, emotionally, and physically to go out on the mission field, ready to take ground!”
CfaN’s leadership recognizes that none of these Kingdom gains would be possible without the prayer and financial support of its thousands of partners around the globe. And they are delighted to report on the success of that partnership both overseas and in their home state of Florida, where hundreds of Nations Church (CfaN’s Orlando-based church plant) congregants took to the streets to evangelize to locals and tourists alike over Easter weekend. Over the last few months, CfaN also distributed 110,278 copies globally of Evangelist Kolenda’s booklet, “He is Risen!” – a concise, reader-friendly presentation of Christ’s Resurrection. As a result, thousands have made first-time commitments to Jesus.
