300,000 people attended tonight’s final meeting here in Yaounde, Cameroon. The chairman of the crusade opened the meeting with a farewell speech for our team. He said that they have always known Reinhard Bonnke as a man who did not exalt himself, but Jesus Christ and he said that we had continued in the same way. To me it was the greatest compliment, that the ministry and the preaching had exalted Christ. This is our goal and a true measure of any ministry’s success. (…Continued)
This morning the Fire Conference came to a climax as Peter van den Berg preached the final message. The overwhelming hunger of the delegates was tangible and the Holy Spirit fell upon them in power! At the end, when it was time to leave, we went to the car but it was locked. “Where is the driver?” I asked, “He’s on the ground under the power of the Holy Spirit!” We had to take a different vehicle back to the hotel, but we were not upset. This is the chaos we prayed for. (…Continued)
Another amazing meeting has just come to a close here in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Tonight I preached on the blood of Jesus and we broke every curse in Jesus’ name. Many thousands received Christ and mighty miracles happened. Many cripples were healed, including one lady who had been on crutches for 27 years!
At the very end, one young lady came forward who had been totally deaf in both ears for 18 years! Tonight, during the corporate prayer for the sick, her right ear suddenly popped open. She came forward to give her testimony, but her brother told me that her left ear was still deaf. I always love when this happens, because it gives us an opportunity to demonstrate the power of the God right before everyone’s eyes. I told her to plug her right ear (the one that had been previously healed). (…Continued)
Tonight our Gospel Crusade here in the city of Yaoundé, Cameroon began with a surge! 110,000 people attended the opening service – a striking indication that we are in for a dynamic week.
I’ve attached a link to little video we took with a mobile phone of the people repeating after me the text for tonight’s message, Romans 10:13, “Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” (http://youtu.be/11-wmrPiak8) You will hear how they shout it with such enthusiasm and fervor. What a joy it is to preach to these precious people. When the “altar call” was given, the response was overwhelming. A mighty harvest took place tonight. (…Continue)
What a wonderful report we’ve received from Ghana where our campaign was just held in the capital city of Accra. 258,529 decision cardswere returned over four days of evangelistic meetings! Now we pray for the local churches working with the new converts to make disciples.
Thank you for standing shoulder to shoulder with us soul-winning work. Heaven is rejoicing!
This has been one of those nights that are hard for me to describe. As always, our emphasis was on the preaching of the Gospel of salvation, to which many thousands responded. But when the Gospel is preached the inevitable result is miracles. Even though I hardly said anything about healing, the Holy Spirit loves to confirm the lordship of Jesus and manifest His Kingdom through supernatural demonstrations.
Tonight we saw so many healings: A man blind for ten years healed. A woman with an issue of blood healed. A deaf man healed. A lady threw her walking stick away. A woman took off her neck brace. I even danced with the woman who had been crippled. But the most moving testimony came at the very end. I asked our video team to quickly give me the raw video so you can see for yourself what happened just a few moments ago. (…Continue)
Tonight the crowd nearly doubled! Have a look at the attached picture. It’s awesome to see these dynamics. I preached about the power of the blood of Jesus and many thousands responded. Afterward, as usual, we broke the curses, burned witchcraft juju and prayed for the sick – what a package! (…Continued)
I am writing you from Accra, the capital of Ghana in west Africa where, just moments ago, the first night of our Gospel Crusade came to a close. 450 local churches representing 50 denominations are cooperating in the campaign. The enthusiasm is at fever pitch and we all sense the this is going to be an extraordinary week.
Yesterday Rev. Peter van den Berg and I met with the President of Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama in the state house. We prayed together had a wonderful time of fellowship. This morning the Fire Conference began. It is very hot and extremely humid here, yet the pastors and delegates sat in the blazing sun for hours receiving the word of God with great joy. (…Continued)
Today, all day, we have been ministering in a CfaN Fire Conference in the city of Kosice in Slovakia. I invited two of my dear friends to join me: Todd White and Mike Dow, both have been a great blessing.
This morning after preaching about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit we formed a “Fire Tunnel” with local minters and laid hands on thousands of people! It was exhausting work, but worth every effort. So many people were dramatically filled with the Holy Spirit.
Tonight the venue, the Steel Arena, was packed! Local leaders told me that this was the largest meeting in the nation in over 20 years! I asked Todd and Mike to give their amazing testimonies of how Jesus saved them and then I preached a short Gospel message about the blood of Jesus. When I gave the altar call we almost could not believe our eyes. Thousands poured onto the arena floor until there was no more room. The front, the aisles and the back of the arena were completely FILLED with people surrendering their lives to Jesus. The very sight was enough to bring tears to my eyes. (…Continued)
